Mission

Central Indiana Jobs with Justice is building a strong, progressive labor movement that works in coalition with community, faith, and student organizations to build a broader global movement for economic and social justice.

We believe in fighting for workers' rights, economic justice, and a sustainable global economy. We are committed to a vision of a United States and a world where workers have collective bargaining rights, employment security, and a decent standard of living.

Principles

We believe in organizing and direct action. Organizing and mobilizing working people and their allies is key to building power. We believe in solidarity. We are there for one another's fights and we unite to win struggles that none of us could win alone. We believe in victories. We build power through winning campaigns for workers' rights and economic justice.

Strategies

Win campaigns that build power for working people
Build a grassroots network of sustainable, strategic and powerful coalitions
Develop leaders and activists to lead our fights
Develop new strategic alliances to build power

Membership

Central Indiana JwJ includes both organizational members and individual members.

Individuals can become individual members by signing the Jobs with Justice pledge AND paying membership dues to the organization. A minimum suggestion is $25 per year, but everyone is encouraged to pay what they can. People are more important than money.

Dues paying member organizations have a representative on the Central Indiana JwJ Steering Committee. The Steering Committee includes one representative for the individual members. Click here for our organizational membership dues schedule.
